Convert WebP to PNG or JPG

WebP is excellent for websites, but some older tools and upload forms still ask for PNG or JPG.

Choose PNG for transparency

If the WebP has transparent areas, convert it to PNG so the transparency survives. JPG will flatten the image onto a solid background.

Choose JPG for photos

If the image is a normal photo and transparency does not matter, JPG is usually easier to share and often smaller than PNG.

Keep a source copy

Once converted, the new file may lose WebP-specific compression benefits. Keep the original in case you need to export another version later.
